Course description

The book is designed to help learners understand major concepts of higher mathematics by breaking them into manageable pieces. It begins with trigonometric fundamentals—how angles work, how trigonometric functions change with different quadrants, and how identities can be used to simplify expressions. Early chapters use many solved examples, diagrams, and small hints to make the concepts less intimidating.

As the chapters progress, the content becomes more application-oriented. You move from understanding trigonometric ratios to using them for heights and distances, then to discovering how inverse trigonometric functions behave. Later parts of the book shift into coordinate geometry, matrices, determinants, derivatives, integrals, vector algebra, and linear programming.

Everything is arranged so that each chapter prepares you for the next one. By the time you reach the end, you’ve covered the entire foundation needed for higher studies where maths is used to model real-world problems, optimise outcomes, or analyse patterns.
