Okay so this book is kinda awesome because it makes all those boring inventions and discoveries super easy to understand. Like I had no idea people figured out things like the telephone and airplanes so long ago, and how crazy some of their ideas were. Also, the way it talks about food inventions and toys was really fun (who knew chocolate chip cookies were made by accident?!). I liked how everything was in timelines and short facts so you don’t have to read a lot to learn cool stuff. Definitely the kind of book you flip through when you’re bored but then end up reading for hours because it’s actually interesting.
