Course description

What makes this book stand out is how it turns basic learning concepts like color recognition and shape identification into full-body, multi-sensory experiences. It’s not a workbook kind of book—it’s more of a “let’s try this together” guide for teachers, caregivers, or even parents. Every activity ties into some area of child development—whether it’s social-emotional growth, literacy, movement, or creative expression. Kids aren’t just sitting and being taught—they’re doing, playing, discovering, and learning without even realizing it. The book smartly organizes the activities under different types of developmental goals, so it’s easy to find what suits your setting or your kids’ needs.

Okay, so this book is actually fun. It’s not like sitting down and doing boring stuff with pencils—it's full of things you actually get to do. I liked the part where you mix colors and make goo (that’s super squishy). The ice cream shop game was awesome too—I got to pretend I was working in a store and make up all kinds of crazy flavor combos. Also, the bubble game was fun even though I thought triangle bubbles were real (they’re not, btw). This book’s great if you like doing things with your hands and not just sitting all day.
